Mercedes Desormeaux-Narcisse was born in St. Marc Haiti, and moved to Brooklyn while still in her teens. She is a vibrant and loving mother of four wonderful children. Her education was completed locally; attending local schools - South Shore and Tilden High, New York City Technical and St. Joseph's Colleges. Mercedes is a registered Nurse, with over 15 years of Home Care and emergency room/trauma, Neurology, Renal/Oncology experiences. She was employed at several major hospitals throughout the boroughs of Queens and Brooklyn.
