Business Education and Support Services is the bi-monthly Business Education and Financial Literacy sessions for members and the community. It entails among such topics as: Entrepreneurial Boot Camp, Best Practices to Managing a Small Business and others relating to marketing, technology and finance. We also provide M/WBE Application Assistance; Business Plan Assistance; and Business Financing Assistance.
Sign UpToussaint L’Ouverture Symposium, Small Business & Cultural Expo is an educational and recreational program that involves discussions about the historical achievements of Toussaint L’Ouverture, a 19th century national Icon of Haiti, and his impact on the United States. It is also a celebration of the co-naming of Nostrand Avenue to Toussaint L'Ouverture Blvd that was facilitated by Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz in 2005. Finally, it is recognition of business leaders and others who exhibit the L’Ouverturian principle emphasizing the importance of civics and economics as means to empowerment.
RSVPUSA - Haiti Investment Project is a program designed to boost the economies of the United States and Haiti by helping their companies develop business relationships with each other and explore new market opportunities. HABNET conducts educational programs, networking events, and business exchanges designed to stimulate interest in American companies to do business with Haiti, offer helpful “how to” information, and provide opportunities for business to be explored between American and Haitian companies. We also organize general, industry-specific, and corporate business missions to Haiti.

Therefore, we provide job training assistance and equip you with computer skills that are currently in demand in the New York City labor market. We assist you with resume writing, interviewing techniques, business etiquette and more. We are also able to do Job Matching, a process by which we arrange job placement for you with our members and partners.
Get StartedYoung Entrepreneur Citizen Program HABNET CHAMBER OF COMMERCE in collaboration with our charitable organization, HABNET Services Corp, administer the Young Entrepreneur Citizen Program (YECP). The program is designed to harness the leadership, communication and technological skills of young people between the ages of 16 to 24. The Program helps to prepare young people to become civic-minded entrepreneurs of the future.
Connect With Us45th District Haiti Relief Effort Mobile Service Unit is a partnership between Councilmember Jumaane D. Williams and HABNET formed in response to the devastating earthquake that occurred in Haiti on January 12, 2010. HABNET coordinates additional Temporary Protected Status (TPS) clinics at different locations, normally on Sundays. At these clinic sites, TPS and other immigration services are offered as well as such diverse services as Health Insurance, Social Services, Medical Services by our various partners. HABNET personnel provide Financial Literacy and Business Education information and assistance, as well as Voter Registration service to those eligible.
