The Sumptuous Sampling Event is the launching event for East Flatbush Restaurant Week, an initiative by HABNET Board Member, Mr. Hassan Bakiriddin. Sumptuous Sampling is an annual event whereby 60 to 70 restaurants in East Flatbush come together under one roof and donate a signature dish to be served and sampled to the community at no cost.

The Annual East Flatbush Restaurant Week: Begins at the end of June and ends approximately on July 9 is a period by which participating restaurants offer special discounted rates for patrons who would like to have breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, and deserts, at their establishments. East Flatbush Restaurant Week was born out of need to support our small business community. 

HABNET’s mission is to support and promote entrepreneurship; therefore, we are committed to supporting our small business community. At HABNET, we believe that showcasing the restaurants in our district will increase the revenues of participating restaurants, market the distinctiveness of their various dishes, and give the residents of East Flatbush an opportunity to be exposed to different cuisine by using the discounts offered to them by participating restaurants.
